The phone becomes the tracker.
W3ctrl Tracker does the opposite job of the customer app: install it on a child's phone, an elderly parent's handset or a delivery rider's device, and it reports to your account. No hardware to buy, nothing to wire.
Set up once. Then it just protects.

Scan pairing code
Point at the pairing QR in your parent’s W3ctrl account — server, device ID and PIN fill in automatically.
Pairing code
Built for family safety, not surveillance theatre
PIN-gated: children can't switch it off
Settings live behind a 4-digit parent PIN. The app says it plainly on the settings screen: without this PIN, tracking can't be turned off, permissions can't be revoked, and the app can't be uninstalled casually.
Background reporting that respects the battery
Reports every 3 minutes by default, battery-aware — it slows down when the phone is still and picks up when it moves, so a school day doesn't end with a dead phone.
SOS that works regardless
Press-and-hold the SOS button for 3 seconds and the app takes its own high-accuracy fix and raises a proper SOS alarm on your family map — even if background tracking was off.
Paired to your account, not a stranger's cloud
Pairing is a QR scan from your own W3ctrl account. Locations report straight to your server — the same one your web portal and customer app read from.
Consent is part of the design
This app is for tracking your own children, elderly parents or employees’ work devices with their knowledge — the same consent rules as the web portal apply. A persistent “Protected” indicator on the phone keeps it visible that location sharing is on.
Honest status: not in the stores yet
W3ctrl Tracker is in build and ships with launch — the same launch as the customer app. Until then, a spare phone can report to your account today with the free Traccar Client app from either store; the portal’s device wizard walks you through it.
