Tell the tracker where to report
Send this as a normal text message to the mobile number of the SIM inside your tracker. This is the GT06-family syntax, which covers most trackers sold in India.

This is the setting people most often get wrong, and it is why a device connects once and then vanishes. Use the value that matches the SIM inside the tracker — not your phone.

Enter the IMEI and watch for the green tick
The IMEI is the 15-digit number printed on the tracker’s sticker. Enter it in your account and we watch our server for it. The moment real position data arrives from your device, the status flips to online — usually within a couple of minutes.
Command syntax varies between manufacturers. The wizard shows the correct version for your model — the examples here are the most common GT06 form.
The four things that actually go wrong
In that order of likelihood. None of them require us to send an engineer to your house.
| Symptom | Usual cause | Fix |

| Device never appears online | The SIM has no active data pack, or data was never enabled on it. | Put the SIM in a phone and load a web page. If that fails, the tracker was never going to work either. |
| Device connects, then drops immediately | APN is wrong for the operator, so the device authenticates and then loses its data session. | Re-send the APN command with the exact value for your operator from the table above. |
| Server shows 'unknown device' | The IMEI entered in your account does not match the one the device is reporting. | Check the sticker again — it is 15 digits. Some boxes print the box's IMEI, not the unit's. |
| Nothing at all, no response to SMS | Wrong device password, or the tracker only accepts commands from an authorised number. | Most GT06 units default to 123456. If it was installed by a shop, they may have changed it. |
