One platform, five very different jobs.
W3ctrl Track is deliberately boring technology: a device reports where it is, and you see it on a map. What changes is the job — a child, a parent, a pet, a car, a fleet. Here is each one, honestly.
Pick the one that looks like you
Kids & school routes
Install W3ctrl Tracker on your child's phone and the school run becomes a glance, not a phone call. Geofence the school and home for arrival alerts; the hold-for-SOS button is there if they ever need it. PIN-gated, so it can't be switched off casually.
Tracker app ships with launch — a spare phone with the free Traccar Client app works today.
Elderly parents
A phone in a parent's pocket that quietly reports to your account. Set an Overstay smart alert on their usual routes and you'll know if a walk runs unexpectedly long — without making them feel watched. Battery-aware reporting keeps their phone alive all day.
Pets
A collar tracker or a phone left in the car at the farmhouse — either way, a geofence around home tells you the moment your dog slips the gate. Low-battery alerts matter here: small trackers die first.
Your own car
The classic case: a wired tracker on the battery, live map on your phone, trip history for mileage, engine cut-off as a theft deterrent. Overstay alerts catch the car sitting somewhere it shouldn't; overspeed keeps teenage drivers honest.
Delivery & field fleets
Ten or more vehicles cross onto Fleet pricing automatically: one invoice, one live fleet map, a monthly performance report, plus drivers, maintenance schedules and remote commands. Your riders' phones can join as trackers — no hardware per rider.
What we won't pretend it does
A tracker page that only lists wins is a brochure. Here are the boundaries, stated upfront.
No covert tracking
Tracking someone’s phone or car without their knowledge is against our terms and, in most cases, the law. Family use means with the family’s knowledge — the apps keep a visible indicator for exactly this reason.
GPS needs sky and signal
Underground parking, dense concrete and dead mobile zones all degrade fixes. The platform shows fix age honestly rather than smoothing over gaps — a stale dot is labelled stale.
The apps aren't here yet
Everything above works today through the web portal. The native apps ship with launch — we say it on every page that mentions them, so nobody pays expecting a download button.
